Welp.. the weekend has come and gone.. and it was a good one.

Rain knocked my schedule back one day, but was able to get everything needed done. However since there was work to be done on Sunday, my MK marathon didn't take place, just watched the new one. Which did not disappoint. Listen, going in you know what you are going to get, a hyper violent, slightly silly movie about people taking things way to seriously. And that is exactly what it was, light on character development and BIG on violent action. Some scenes were much better than others.. But all in pretty enjoyable.

Also finished the Winter Solider Mini-series, which was pretty much like a mini movie to un-veil ... SPOILERS.... NOT A BIG SUPRISE..

That Mackie would be the new Captain America, so he's basically a Batman - an above average human who is trained in combat and has really cool toys. No super serum but he's a still a tough dude. And while I love Mackie as Cap, I have to say his costume or outfit just looked a bit corny.. Something about how his glasses come into the rest of the outfit looked like a DC TV universe super hero and not the Mighty Marvel Cinematic Universe. And sure there were other problems with the show, US Agent redemption was a bit too quick.. etc.. but over pretty nice.. Looking forward to LOKI now thought..
