GUEST HOST FOR THE BOARD!!!!

No not really, it's still my broken grammar that will be displayed here today, but I am pulling in a buddy to help make the World's Greatest Mock Draft*

* = that is displayed on a website maintained by Two Dogs Publishing, a subsidiary of Paullin Design, which is a shell corp LLP of Eric Paullin Limited.

Lets Get started! I will make the 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 selections, while our guest will make the evens. Only doing 10.. because we don't have all day.

With the first pick, the Jags select Trevor Lawerence QB, from Clemson, I am not gonna get cute with this first pick... Lawerence is the QB you made in Madden when you wanted to cheat.

With the number 2 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft the NY Jets select Justin Fields - The Ohio State University - Joe Douglas has been the GM since 2019 - enduring the Darnold/Gase era of unimaginative and lousy football. He is an OLman by trade. Tough guy. I am going out on a limb here, but Fields is by far the most battle tested and physically tough QB on the board. This all comes along with significantly better PASSING numbers than Wilson could dream of, against better competition

Last full season for JF: 67.2 comp % 3300 yds in a rushing conference, 41 TDs 3 Ints

So now I am on the clock.. 49ers - not expecting Zach Wilson to be their sprint to the podium and select the kid from BYU. I am not a fan, but he's done enough to be drafted here.

Atlanta selects Kyle Pitts TE Florida - helps them move off Jones and with the cap hell they're in with Ryan's contract they need young offensive weapons on rookie deals.

After letting almost the entire clock run down while entertaining trade offers.. the Bengals select JaMarr Chase. In the end there was no package of picks that allowed them to get still get a significant offensive weapon, so they stayed the course and got an explosive play maker to go with Burrow.

Miami selects Jaylen Waddle WR Alabama - Everyone wants a Tyreek Hill and Waddle is the closest thing to that..

Lions select there QB of the future in Mac Jones -- mostly because I don't want to allow my compariot the pain of having him selected by the Panthers..

Panthers select Trey Lance QB NDSU

Fitterer and Co know that Darnold has shown incompetence, albeit in a horrible situation. Would be smart to invest here in maybe the best tools of all the QBs in the draft, a guy that turns 21 in May. If Darnold pans out, it's a good problem to have.

(I am fully supportive of this pick! It's ideal...)

Broncos look to trade out after all of the QBs are gone, but they find no takers and decided to pick Penei Sewell OT Oregon. Best available here..

Dallas selects Pat Surtain II CB Alabama

And that wraps up our Mock draft.. I have feeling we had more fun with this that will actually happen. Also there are surprisingly NO trades.. which will most likely NEVER happen.

Enjoy!
