Usually we get a new Star Wars trailer today, but not thinking that is gonna happen. But some cool new stuff on Disney Plus to check out.
A fun side tangent I wanted to share. I forget with Sports Media talking head put this list together, but I honestly couldn't have thought it was funnier or WILDY inaccurate.
I think he said something like.. the Most influential or popular athletes in the world are as follows...
I bring this up today, because I saw Messi just crossed 200 million Instagram followers and it got me thinking about how US bias this list was and how completely wrong it was.. Yes Tom Brady is INSANELY famous and popular.. but to put this in perspective, Tompa has 9.8 million followers.....
In fact Messi has nearly as many followers as the COMBINED followers of the Top 10 NBA players.
The funny part is that he is not even the highest soccer player... That falls to Cristiano, who has the most followers of ANY HUMAN.. about 50 million more than the next closet... Or one Steph Curry (32.8), a Tom Brady, and a Giannis (the two time raining MVP) more than second place Ariana Grande and the Rock..
Basically if you want to talk about popularity or what-ever.. DON"T use the world.. there are 7 billion people in it and most of them don't care two you know what's about the NFL... or the NBA.. (Note - this author loves both.. :)
Oh ya and a Cricket player from India commands over a 100 million followers too..
