Took a day off and relaxed, clean, did some side work, but more importantly I went to the movies.

It was a glorious return and honestly I probably could have watched the biggest piece of crap and still loved it. Because there is something about being in dark room with the speakers blaring that just takes you way. It's truly one of my favorite feelings in the world. I do miss that Dolby or THX intros they use to do, but it's still a special thing for me. Once I was over the initially shock of being at the movies. I did actually enjoy the movie.

So something interesting happened, I certainly enjoyed the spectacle of the movie, I saw Tenet, probably should have mentioned that, and like I mentioned I was just happy to be back at the movies. I can't say I loved it. And then the more I thought about it and read about it, the more I realized some glaring issues that I couldn't put my finger on while I was watching the movie, but something just felt off.

I don't want to spoil the movie, but it's about time trav... sorry time inversion... and the movie is like the title a palindrome, and while the time mechanics and what is going on can be a bit confusing, but in the end, it is still a straight forward spy movie, where our Protagonist has to obtain items to stop the end of the world. While people complained about the sound and not hearing the dialogue, I didn't have this issue at all which was helpful as there was a ton of exposition. My issues were with the lack of emotional stakes between everyone for the most part.. our hero is just cool, because he's John David Washington. etc.. Either way, I am rambling.. It was a spectacle and entertaining, but not a easy watch, as I had to focus and pay attention closely.

I am over my limit for the day.. so I will give the rest of my updates tomorrow!
